Insurance and Finance Options

Insurance

We accept most insurance carriers. Please be sure to always alert us when you’ve had an insurance change.

We are currently in network with:

  • Aetna
  • BlueCross BlueShield
  • Cigna HealthCare of Tennessee
  • Medicaid
  • Georgia Medicaid/PeachCare for Kids®
  • Medicare
  • UnitedHealthcare

While we are in network with most carriers, individual plans may vary. Please check with your carrier for specific coverage questions.

For therapy, we work diligently with insurance carriers to ensure you or your child can receive the needed services. This includes requesting more appointments when visit limits are met and providing all the necessary records to prove medical necessity.

For specific billing questions, call 423-635-7733 or email [email protected].

Sliding Fee Scale

For patients who are uninsured or concerned about their ability to pay the full fee for services, we offer a sliding fee scale. The application is designed to help determine qualification for fee adjustment based on income and the Federal Health and Human Services Poverty guidelines. Patients may request a fee adjustment application from their provider.

Audiology

Until you come in and complete an evaluation, we cannot make a diagnosis, give a recommendation for treatment, provide cost estimates or tell you how much your insurance will cover. Once we know how we can help, we can tell you how much treatment will cost and what your insurance will cover.

Most insurance plans cover one hearing exam per year. Some also include a hearing aid benefit. It is important to note that many carriers offer the same or similar hearing benefits for in- and out-of-network services provided by a licensed audiologist.

We’re frequently asked about Medicare specifically, which only covers hearing exams. But if you have a Medicare supplement, you may have a hearing aid benefit.

Financing

Avoid one big payment and enjoy top technology in hearing aids through our hearing aid leasing program. For those who qualify, we offer two choices for deferred interest payment plans (zero interest, if paid on time in full) for patients looking for monthly payment options.

Care Credit

We also accept CareCredit®, the leading healthcare credit card, to make improving your hearing health easier and more affordable. With CareCredit®, you can get the hearing instrument you need and pay for it over time with monthly payments that fit into your budget. Special financing is available on purchases of $200 or more for healthcare costs not commonly covered by insurance, including hearing aids.

PowerPay

We offer PowerPay, whose goal is to provide fair and accessible healthcare financing solutions. By offering their flexible financing plans, the cost of hearing devices can be transformed into manageable, fixed monthly payments. You can access the treatments and services you need now and comfortably pay them off over time. With competitive rates, extended terms, and hassle-free application processes, PowerPay makes it convenient for you to access a wide range of healthcare options.
