Meet Carla Wiksell, M.A., CCC-SLP

Carla Wiksell is a senior speech-language pathologist and has been with the Speech & Hearing Center since 1991. In her role, she provides therapy services for patients of all ages and heads up the Center’s screening program at area schools. Prior to the Center, she served as a speech-language pathologist for Bardstown City Schools in Kentucky. Carla obtained her bachelor’s degree at Murray State University and her master’s degree at University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is licensed in Georgia and Tennessee and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is also a certified dispenser for SpeechEasy®, a device used to reduce stuttering.
